for the long hiatus. Mostly I've just been working, working, working. But, luckily, there were some other events of the week that kept me from posting:
- Finally seeing the "Sex and the City" movie! Despite the fact that a woman two seats down from me answered her cell phone during the movie, it was fabulous. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Loved it. Have considered skipping work and catching a matinée just to see it again.
- Watching "So You Think You Can Dance" with Dan, recorded from Wednesday night. Unfortunately, I somehow missed that it was also on Thursday night, and therefore missed the Las Vegas episode where they chose the top 20. Bummer.
- Talking with my dad about his recent purchase of a motor home. Still deciding if this was a good idea. . . . Picture of actual motor home below. This picture makes it look small, but trust me, it is ginormous.
- Trying to survive the endless onslaught of thunderstorms here, followed by so many tornado watches and warnings that it's hard to pay attention anymore.
- Hitting the Chinese buffet with Dan. This was my first Chinese buffet visit since going veg last year, but luckily I still found plenty to eat. They even had some veggie sushi--deelish!
- Ironing out plans for my sister to visit in July. YAY!
