It's been a while since I've posted about a good thing, so it's time for another. Better World Books is an online bookstore that uses profits to fund literacy initiatives around the world. In addition to selling new books, they partner with universities and libraries to collect used and unwanted books, selling them to raise funds or donating them to literacy projects while keeping books out of landfills. And if they don't find a home for a book, they recycle it.
They have a surprisingly good selection of new and used books (over two million titles) with free shipping on all orders shipped in the U.S., and they purchase carbon credits to offset the environmental impact of all the books they ship.
Please join me in saying goodbye to your other online book sellers and check this one out!
